Part-Time: $20 to $25 hourly

Full-Time: $50,000 to $60,000 annual salary

At Build and Brew Café we will hold Design and Build Workshops that will combine elements of art, graphic design and engineering to enable customers to design and manufacture small functional items using 3D printers, laser engravers and other equipment. This will allow customers to design functional 3D objects and artisanal crafts. Workshops can be differentiated by the type and complexity of the designs. Motors, mechanics and switches can be added to increase functionality. Participants can learn how to integrate code and program simple commands into their creations

Job Description
  • Assisting with designing different graphics that will be sold online an in our retail. This can include the graphics displayed on our 3d printed kits, t-shirts, mugs, posters, laser engraved merchindise and apparel.
  • Develop and facilitate various CAD and graphic design workshops, classes and lesson plans pertaining to 2D and 3D Design.
  • Will teach students how to use 3D Printers, Sublimation Printers, Laser Engravers, CNC Machines, Wide Format Printers and other graphic equitment.
  • Effectively communicates with individuals to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications
  • A candidate with graphic design and CAD skills is required.
  • The ability to intergrate fine art and graphic art is a plus.
  • The ability to use 3D Printers, Laser Engravers, Wide format printers, CNC Machines, Sublimation Printers and other graphic equitment is stongly encouraged.
  • The ability to transform technical language into user friendly and age-appropriate language is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with young adults or adults with special needs is a plus.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience towards individuals with special needs.
  • Candidate should have a high level of critical thinking- be able to evaluate information and make informed decisions.
